Every day, people are exposed to the EMF or electromagnetic field produced by different objects. Your smartphone, TV, microwave, computers and other electrically charged objects emit EMF. At low enough levels, EMF is harmless. The more you are exposed to it, however, the higher your potential risk of developing health issues. Thanks to certain technological advancements, sauna manufacturers have developed no EMF infrared saunas.
The World Health Organization is currently developing a framework for harmonization of EMF standards” that may be used as a worldwide guide. In 1992, the EPA came up with a document stating that there was no established “cause and effect relationship” between EMF and any disease.
Until further research is satisfactorily completed, the agency has yet to come up with an EMF-exposure level that would be considered “safe” or “unsafe”. Given the concerns of the public on the possible ill-effects of EMF, however, noted infrared sauna manufacturers offer no EMF or zero-EMF saunas, as approved by reputable testing companies.
Saunas have different kinds of heaters and produce EMFs at varying levels. Choose an infrared sauna that uses zero-EMF carbon fiber far infrared heaters tested by a reputable inspection, product testing, and certification company.
When buying a no EMF sauna, always look for its safety certification. It is there to assure consumers that a product has been tested not only for EMF levels but for other aspects as well, like quality construction, electrical safety, and performance standard.
