Far Infrared LevelsFar infrared levels are mainly used for detoxification purposes. As the name implies, this is the highest level that the infrared sauna can reach. However, note that this does not in any way mean that the overall temperature itself will be extreme. Infrared levels are usually measured based on their ability to penetrate the muscles and skin and not in terms of their temperature, which you can always increase or decrease.
