Unlike steam-based heating systems, this new technology uses infrared light to directly heat the body and induce sweating. It offers many benefits, including lower energy consumption, as well as heat that penetrates deeper into muscle tissues.
That being said, there is one concern that might hold back potential buyers from purchasing an infrared sauna: electromagnetic fields, or EMF.
